English Heritage

The English Heritage Charity is a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving and promoting the cultural heritage of England. Its mission is to protect and conserve the historic buildings, monuments, and sites of England and to make them accessible and enjoyable for everyone. This collection of historic wallpapers was taken from wallpaper fragments held within the English Heritage Archive, then reworked and re-coloured by Designers Guild. The wallpaper collection is steeped in history. It celebrates the traditional craftsmanship of hand-block printing processes with its reinterpretation of floral and geometric wallpapers, originating back to the 18th century.
