Romans *

Viola Gråsten’s mid 1960s sketches was the inspiration for the captivating Romans wallpaper from Nordic design house Boråstapeter’s Scandinavian Designers II wallpaper collection. Another timeless design, the illustration leaves give the impression of looking up at the sky through a shrubbery of leaves. The Romans wallpaper pattern very much appears as if it has been quickly drawn on impulse and then torn from the artist’s sketch book (and which Viola Grasten intended it to look).
