A chinoiserie lattice with shadow and highlight putting the trellis pattern in relief. Robert Herrick (1591-1674) was a poet whose chief work was Hesperides, a collection of sacred and pastoral lyrics. Large scale diamond measures 24.5cm/9.6inches.
