Born from a genuine passion for beautiful interiors
Designer Wallpapers started with a simple, deeply held conviction: that exceptional wallpaper should be accessible to anyone who loves their home, and that buying it should be a pleasure rather than a puzzle.
Founded in London in the early 2000s, we set out to bring together the most coveted names in international wall covering design under one roof. From our earliest days, we understood that wallpaper is never just wallpaper — it's the character of a room, the mood of a home, the personality of the people who live there.
What began as a focused online specialist grew, shaped at every turn by real customer relationships and a genuine love of design.

Growing into a family of complementary businesses
As Designer Wallpapers grew, so did what we offered. Interior designers told us they wanted to source complementary fabrics alongside their wall coverings — and so Designer Fabrics was born, carrying a curated range of luxury upholstery and curtain fabrics.
Then came Wonderwall — our made-to-measure mural service, transforming photographs and bespoke artwork into room-scale installations. Our in-house print studio, Wick Design in Hackney Wick, gives us direct production capability for custom and bespoke work.
Each expansion grew organically from real need — never a spreadsheet decision, always a design instinct.
