Penglai *

Penglai wallpaper is a heavenly scene. The birds range in size from approximately 9cm - 18cm (3.5 - 7 inches) as they go about their business amongst the flowers and fruits of their bounteous forest. Penglai takes its name from Mount Penglai, a place in Chinese mythology, full of magical properties. The mountain was abundant with healing and nourishing fruits and was believed to be the source of the elixir of life.
