Long cherished this Cole & Son design symbolises the spirit and positive energy of the Hummingbird. This intriguing tiny bird is captured here playfully performing its usual acrobatic endeavours, one of which is flying backwards.
The optimistic radiance of their iridescent plumage is set in a variety of differing colour scenes, the more theatrical deep sapphire provides a contrast to the other lighter shades. The soft hues of the multi-colour edition is unassumingly exquisite, whilst the original multi-colour is somewhat more defined. Along with the misty blue and celadon sage there is a plethora of choice seemingly impossible to exhaust.
