Precious Fibers 3

The design takes its name from the opera Turandot (1926) by Giacomo Puccini, set in the Chinese imperial court. The wallpaper evokes the exotic richness and symbolic prestige of that setting. Visually, it features a “shagreen” motif — a textured, slightly pebbled-look surface that is a classic of the Armani Casa aesthetic and historically associated with refinement in Eastern decorative traditions. A key feature is the relief texture: the pattern uses 3D expanding inks applied via a screen-printing process directly onto silk fibres, giving a subtle three-dimensional effect on the surface.
